Art on an Ink-Spilled Page

When we brought home a new sketchbook, Nathan was eager to try it out. Unfortunately, ink spilled over the first page, and he was quite upset. I didn’t want to see him stay sad, so I decided to turn the mishap into an opportunity.

I transformed the ink-stained page into a piece of art, showing Nathan how something unintended can become beautiful. This experience reminded me of the power of actions in lifting a child’s spirits, often more impactful than words alone.
