Nagalinganesh is Hindu Trinity

A colleague of mine requested a mini Ganesh idol similar to one I had previously posted. With a bit of overconfidence, I assured him that I would create an even better one. The result, however, was a unique piece that combines elements of Ganesh, Shiv Lingam, and a serpent.

To me, this sculpture now resembles a depiction of the Hindu Trinity:

• Ganesh as the Son
• Shiv Lingam as the Father
• Serpent as the Holy Ghost

I’m now contemplating whether to present this unconventional creation as a gift, or to revert to making a traditional Ganesh idol as initially requested. I find myself in a dilemma about gifting such an unusual form.
