Maniyettan’s Last Lesson: Art of Dying

The Art of Living is often taught in ashrams, but how many of us have encountered someone who teaches the Art of Dying, using their own life as an example? I feel truly blessed to have witnessed Guru Maniyettan, who often chose to leave his body, only to return when we weren’t ready to let him go. But now, many of us have matured enough to allow him to attain his final liberation.

Three days ago, on Karthika Pournami, he began a continuous Pranayama practice, and today, he took his last breath. There was no need to preserve his body in a freezer for a day after rituals because it remains as fresh as it was in the day of death, and it will continue to stay that way.

This stands as the ultimate example for all Sidha Vidhyarthi’s to aspire to in their practice. We are deeply grateful to have lived and learned under such a great Guru. May his soul continue to guide humanity on the path to self-realization.

Below is a video I found in Youtube, thanks to those recorded and published.
